I have so much fun with this game! The mechanics offer opportunities for strategy, replayability, and skill development. If you remember (and loved) Ricochet Robot, this is like crossing that game with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The theme is fun, the special powers are fun, the interactions are fun, heck the whole game is a blast. One thing I really like is a balancing mechanic where gets more difficult as a player gets closer to winning. This helps players who are behind have a bit of an enabling advantage to catch up.I've played with 2, 3, 4 players, all with equal excitement. You can even do a solo variant, which I have used when the gang wasn't around to play. (OK, I was really trying to practice so I could wipe the floor with them later.) I also had my 3 year old granddaughter help me play it. She would flip the locator tokens and move the meeples, and really enjoyed it.In full disclosure, not everyone who played it liked it. Some thought it was too light. But nobody thought it was too hard. I certainly think this game can be appreciated by people who are not jedi-masters of table games. Novices can pick it up and enjoy it.If there is any con with it, I would say it is the token handling. You have to grab a bunch of tokens to define your solution each round, and it always seems like that is a hot potato race. I don't know a better way to do it. It just becomes a little fiddley.I'm also not a fan of the timer. Once one player has a solution, he starts a sand timer. That's when it gets real stressful. Maybe that's not as much of a con as it is me getting too emotionally involved ;)This is one of those games that you can't wait to play. Highly recommended.
