I forget that Ben Aflevk can actually act! Good movie lots of twists!It's a good movie. Gary Sinise is the most under rated actor ever. As far as the title to my review, am I the only one who notices they dubbed in the engine noise for the tractor trailer they're driving? It sounds like a fake lion growl. I guess they wanted it to sound menacing, or add to the evil of the plot or whatever. But it was so distracting to me. Otherwise, if you want to escape and have extra time and love to see Charlize Theron topless, go for it. Afleck's acting was good enough I guess. Anything is better than Daredevil. One of only 3 movies I've ever walked out on in the first ten minutes.When Ben Affleck is released from prison he poses as his dead cell mate to get his pen pal girlfriend played by Charlize Theron. It turns out she’s got a psychotic brother played by Gary Sinise that wants Affleck to help him with robbing a casino.The writing is a bit up and down. There are a few twists but the first one is easily predictable. Then you expect the rest of the story to be a letdown but it actually gets better. There’s plenty of tension between Affleck and Sinise. Theron isn’t just the worried girlfriend. The plot turns out to be more than just the heist but what the main characters will do to each other. Overall it turns out to be a pretty good crime flick.CThe actors they cast were as good as can be expected for their roles. Brilliant plot twist. Great suspense. I can't see how anyone other than losers could be disappointed by RG.Love the end twistBen Affleck is attractive and cute, the film itself is interesting and has some action scenes in it, I liked the story, the director or maker seems to be a very talented character and it shows, there is a spark in this firm that has the creator's hand. I liked it, its fun, there is a few thills and its interesting....My son liked itI dare you not to say to people after having watched this movie, "Why you playing Reindeer Games, Ben Affleck?" Ok...so that's my lame line, however this movie is just a fun movie to watch. A lot of people are not big fans of Affleck, which I get, but in movies like this, where he's kind of bumping along and seems to be having fun, I find him entertaining. A very good cast for a movie that is just fun to watch. There are some twists, but they don't do much to enhance or detract from a fun flick. Ho Ho HoA ridiculous plot: totally unbelievable and contrived. Why Charlize Theron chose this piece of rubbish is difficult to explain. There is a good pool scene though. Reindeer rubbish.I saw this film on TV one night & it was called "Reindeer Games", which I believe was the USA title of the film & here in the UK, it was re-titled "Deception" for some reason.Anyway, I really enjoyed this film & don't know why everyone seems to be so down on it. It's a good story with a great twist at the end & the lead actors are all good.Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron & Gary Senise all put in good performances & also too is James Frain, who's becoming one of my favourite actors, as he was great in "The Tudors" asThomas Cromwell & also as Villefort in "The Count Of Monte Christo" & he's good in this film too.So, ignore all the bad reviews of the film & give it a go, it's actually quite good! :)Arrived as described promptly, in new condition and well packaged with no damage. Can ask for no more!☹ didn't realise it was not in English .Good film that I have seen beforeA minor film by Frankenheimer (Frantic, Manchurian Candidate, French connection 2) but still great, bitter, with good twist and a cinical ending. It deserves a second chance, interesting for being a noir with a snowy setting
