Like all Legos, this game was lots of fun to build. It took my 8-year old about 15 minutes and she was able to read and follow the instructions on her own. The game "board" (a frog pond) is very small, as are the frog gamepieces. The game itself is very simple to play - just a basic leap frog until all the frogs are home or gone. You spin a large die to advance. The game doesn't take long to play and my grandkids found it a bit boring after just a couple of rounds.
