Great game! LOVE IT! I thought the Paul bunyon and the babe die was with it and it doesn't come with it.Our son & daughter-in-law taught us this game & we love it. We taught our friends and purchased the game for them as a gift. The only problem we had was we ran into a few problems/scenarios where the rules didn't help to explain how to have handled them. So, I emailed the company with the problems/scenarios and asked how they should have been handled. They were quick to answer with more details on a rule/rules or how a card can be used. For instance, the Babe Biscuit can be used to draw Babe OUT of the discard pile, not just to take away from another player. Another example, Babe is considered EQUIPMENT, so if the Sasquatch "discard all equipment" is played, Babe MUST be discarded! The Longsaw is NOT equipment. These details or scenarios should be included with the rules because we're sure others have had a questionable scenario. Knowing these little extras makes it more fun! I've just ordered the Cup of Joe edition and can't wait to see how that goes!My smart, 10 year old grandson loves this game. His mom and I don't, but play it anyway.I'm originally from Minnesota, and this game is a HUGE hit with all of my friends...and frankly anyone I've ever played it with. The game is full of quirky humor, sure to give everyone a good laugh. I'm so glad that they included Babe in the Side of Bacon expansion pack. It just adds to the entire feel of the game. Without Babe, it wouldn't be complete.This might be me...but I find myself accidentally calling it "Lumberjacks and Sasquatches" sometimes. Maybe they should create another expansion that builds on the flapjacks theme. I remember there being an old cartoon showing lumberjacks having to skate with butter across a gigantic skillet in order to make Paul Bunyan's flapjacks. Could be some awesome ideas for more cards in that cartoon.Basically, this game is PHENOMENAL! My only recommendation is that they should keep going and expand the game because it could keep getting even better. If they do I'll be the first person to get it. It's that awesome!I have been waiting for years to buy this at an affordable price (I'm not spend ok ng nearly $100 on a card game!) So when I saw this for $22 I bought it. I was first introduced to this game at my sister-in-law's home a few years ago, and loved it before the first game was finished. It's fun for the whole family. My youngest kid is 5, and he can play this with a bit of help, my 7 year old can play without help, and my 5th grader and 7th grader love this. Actually I have yet to meet a person that hasn't liked playing this game. Buy this, if you dont like it, then you can gift it to someone that loves fun.This game is quick to play, easy to learn, and has made everyone laugh that has played. There is enough strategy to keep the game interesting but not so much that it scares people away! This game goes with us to all of our get together now!We love this game! It’s new, different, the kids enjoy it. My only complaint would be the directions... they don’t provide every rule. Even on our third time playing the game, we would have to read thru all the instructions, and even go online to get clarifications. This is something the designers should knowWe bought this game after playing it at a friend's house. We are currently addicted to this game, as we play 2 games after dinner each night. I would categorize the difficulty level of this game being a bit beyond 'entry level' as you have to keep track of what bonus, defense and offense cards (in your hand) correspond with the other cards people are playing. The artwork and names on the cards offer plenty of jokes and discussion during game play. Our (house) rule is to always place the 'Lure Help' card upside down so we don't have to look at it :) Game play normally last 15-30 minutes and we consider this a filler game between bigger table top games. This is a must have for your collection.
