Much easier to pick up and handle than cardboard disc coins. Coins add weight and real tactile sensation during play. Once you try it you won't want to go back to cardboard coins.these game coins won't wear out, won't turn to mush if something spills on them and can be used with different games where paper money is just a pain...These coins are SO much better than the standard cardboard ones that come with the original game. The colors are great (copper / silver /gold) and the "heft" is just right! We play Viticulture many times/week and this is the first upgrade I've found for it. Love these coins!I ordered and received this Treasure Chest of Coins this week for use in board games. All three types of coins look great. The smaller copper colored coins are 22 mm diameter. The mid sized gray coin is 26 mm diameter. The larger antique gold coin is 32 mm diameter. While all three coins can be stacked up to about 5 coins high, they are a bit precarious and do not link up sufficiently at the rims to prevent them from tumbling off with the slightest movement, so I do not consider them stackable, as the value and image in the center of the coins is higher than the rim. I think these coins will add more realism to many games that use cardboard coins. The cost at $29 for the coins is less than some other coin sets for a similar quantity. You can get metal coins that cost less, but these appear to be larger and better quality than those, so it appears you do get what you pay for. Of course, you could use coins from your home country at a lower cost but they might not fir the theme of the game you are playing quite as well as these might. There are some more unique and perhaps better quality coins available that I would save my superlative "5 rating" comments for, but they cost a lot more. Overall I am pleased with these coins and rate them 4.5, rounded down to 4.Pièces de monnaies du jeu original. Je les recommande.
